The Accountant 2 Movie Review
Tightly wound (and rather deadly) accountant Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) and his alpha-male brother Braxton (Jon Bernthal) do all the heavy lifting and provide the film with its best moments. They fight like only brothers can and then kick butt like only cinematic bad boys can and it’s a blast to behold.
//
Their slowly developing relationship provides a few touching moments and their general way with each other is played mostly for laughs. A lot of the gags hit ...

The Amateur Movie Review
When his beloved wife Sarah (Rachel Brosnahan) is tragically murdered, it brings something out in Heller that many never even imagined. Few saw the determination he possessed to avenge the death of his wife and he is allowed to train in the black arts. Even then he is still treated with a level of disdain that proves completely unwarranted.

Once in the field he uses this dismissal to his advantage. Being underestimated plays to his strengths and lacking the brawn ...

The Many Saints of Newark Movie Review
The film’s pedigree is a solid one with the show’s original creator David Chase and former episode writer Lawrence Konner penning the story and screenplay. Setting its timeline as a prequel was also a wise move and it takes full advantage of the salty language and unruly race relations of the time.
//
Building the main storyline on a character, Dickie Moltisanti (Alessandro Nivola), that was never seen on the television show gives hardcore fans more involvement. ...

Retro Movie Review – Baby Driver
Wright pulls remarkable performances from his entire cast. Ansel Elgort (The Fault in Our Stars and Divergent) shows a real star turn as the enigmatic title character and both Jon Hamm and Jamie Foxx really sell the menace as they both play great criminal psychos. Headmaster Kevin Spacey keeps them all together with a solid mix of benevolence and belligerence.

Special mention should also be made about the car chase scenes. Without any noticeable computer generated ...
