BITE markets at North Harbour to open March 1st!

Calling all foodies – it’s time to indelibly ink Friday March 1 and Saturday March 2 in your diaries because that’s the weekend Bite Markets at North Harbour will officially open as the new home to some 40 Flavour Makers, creating the northside’s biggest food adventure!

After an overwhelming response to last year’s call for stallholders, BITE Markets at North Harbour can now reveal some of the amazing Flavour Makers who will be part of this year’s food revolution on Brisbane’s northside, presented in customised shipping containers, surrounded by landscaped areas in a fully fenced dining precinct.

Leading the charge and exclusive to BITE is Mitte Berlin Street Food, the creation of Moreton Bay region locals Suzanne and Brett Lang who will also operate their famed Ice Tea Man. They will be joined by Don Quijote Paella and Tapas (Spanish), September 18 (the popular North Lakes restaurant), Zoe’s Brownies (from Kallangur local, Teegan Kuenz), Come on Mate! Gourmet Japanese, Fresh Gozleme, Tibetan Momo Café, Mr Bunz, Romantica Restaurant (Italian), Donut Kitchen (pictured above), Mister Churros, Mini Dutch Pancakes – Poffertjes, Nude Juice, Mocktail Madness and more, representing a culinary journey around the globe.

With parking for more than 600 cars and located at exit 150 off the Bruce Highway on Nolan Drive in Morayfield, just 12 minutes from North Lakes and 25 minutes from Brisbane, BITE Markets proudly celebrates produce of the Moreton Bay region, as a food market that overflows with taste, colour and entertainment for people and palates of all ages.

Founder of BITE, the renowned caterer and food creator Tom Burke, said he was thrilled with the calibre of flavour makers who had leapt at the opportunity to be part of the food market. “As the northside’s great food adventure, BITE represents a new hub for local food creators and food lovers. At home in the fastest growing region of Australia in the Moreton Bay region, we are thrilled to announce that BITE Markets will open on Friday, March 1. BITERS are set for a culinary journey around the globe with dishes from Malaysia to Spain, Italy to Japan, Tibet to Turkey and everywhere in between, all created on-site. Of course, everyone is dedicated to championing local produce.”

The best news? You don’t have to take out a personal loan or sell your Gran’s pearls for your family to experience the flavours of the world as all dishes at BITE Markets are extremely affordable with nothing over $15!
