Tkay Maidza M.O.B. 2015 National Tour

Fresh from slaying Laneway Festival audiences around the country, Tkay Maidza has just announced a national tour for her whip-cracking new single ‘M.O.B.’

The first track from her upcoming and debut album is an anthem of ‘Money Over Bitches’ – mixing calypso beats with a lightning-fast emcee flow – delivered with Tkay’s now trademark energy.

Tkay’s live performances have taken her from an online sensation, effortlessly tearing up the Hype Machine charts and raking in global recognition, to one of Australia’s youngest fearless performers. Carving up stages around the country this year already with The Falls Music & Arts Festivals, Southbound, Beat the Drum and St Jerome’s Laneway Festival Tkay is now gearing up for sets at Mountain Sounds and Groovin The Moo as well as support spots with Charli XCX in April and May.

Joining Tkay on her cross-country take-over will be up-and-comers UV Boi and Joy. With only a handful of refreshing electronic tracks smacking with heavy 808’s UV Boi’s unique production stylings have amassed over 200k Soundcloud plays and co-signings from the likes of Nina Las Vegas and Ryan Hemsworth. Seventeen-year-old Olivia McCarthy aka Joy makes stunning, sneaky pop music that you can dive into like a warm bath, with a ethereal melodies and her own startling vocals, it’s no wonder she’s been snapped up to play gigs around the country.
