Stones Corner Festival 2019

Back for its sixth year on Sunday May 5, Stones Corner Festival is stoked to announce a stellar lineup of iconic Aussie bands, featuring festival faves Jebediah, Area-7 and local Brisbane legend Darren Middleton of Powderfinger!

One of Brisbane’s largest and most anticipated annual street parties, the free celebration of the inner-city suburb and its community will bring together great local food, breweries and artisans in support of the MND and Me Foundation, supporting Queenslanders living with Motor Neurone Disease and funding ongoing research.

Live acts will take the stage with electrifying performances from 12pm, and joining the high-energy headliners will be sets from must-see Brisbane rockers Cheap Fakes, critically acclaimed We All Want To (who are back with a new album On The Dots this March) and and Townsville punkabilly group The VanKeys, with plenty more acts still to be announced so stay tuned!

2019’s Stones Corner Festival will bring the crowd together in harmony with the endlessly popular sell-out local event, Pub Choir. Bringing live music back to the people, warm up your vocal chords and join the chorus with a beer in hand – there’ll even be a special guest to help everyone stay in tune!

While general entry to the festival remains free, limited VIP Package tickets will be available in 2019 giving dedicated attendees front row action. Presented by Gage Roads Brewing Co, VIP entry includes access to a restricted VIP area, premium viewing, private bar and facilities, $50 of Festival Money (to be used in the VIP bar) as well as complimentary canapes!

In between catching the lineup grab a bite from some of Brisbane’s most popular food trucks, alongside over 20 beverage vendors heroing Brisbane and Australian craft beer including Ballistic Beer Co, Fortitude Brewing Company, and Aether Brewing. Artisan creators will be showcased with Urbane Markets on board this year. We’ll also have family friendly entertainment along the street including Jumping Castle, Petting Zoo and Face Painting.

While it’s a celebration of the lively suburb, Stones Corner Festival welcomes guests from all over Brisbane and beyond to enjoy festival food, locally-brewed bevs, and must- catch music!
