Palace Films is delighted to be releasing LOST ILLUSIONS in Australian cinemas nationally from June 23rd, with advance screenings from this weekend (June 17th to 19th).

Featuring an all-star cast – including Benjamin Voisin, Cécile de France, Vincent Lacoste, Xavier Dolan, and Gérard Depardieu – Xavier Giannoli’s adaptation of Balzac’s classic novel premiered as an Official Selection of the Venice International Film Festival, and went on to win seven César Awards (French Academy Awards): Best Film, Best Supporting Actor (Lacoste), Most Promising Actor (Voisin), Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Costume and Production Design.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: block;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-9550766590923202" data-ad-slot="4069408586" data-ad-format="link"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: block;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-9550766590923202" data-ad-slot="4069408586" data-ad-format="link"></ins>//

Offering a terrific showcase for her brilliant cast, director Carine Tardieu skillfully weaves a whollyentertaining exploration of love, coincidence and human connection. Few films manage to pluck both the heartstrings and the funny bone as well as JUST TO BE SURE. It’s a delight.

Palace Films’ JUST TO BE SURE, will open in cinemas nationally on December 26, 2017.
