While this may look like your ordinary beauty pageant, we challenge our contestants to show us their true beauty, whatever form that may take. Join in the chaos as the contestants go head to head across a number categories, all vying for the role of Brisbane’s most vivacious drag queen, drag king or gender blending beauty.

Take a glimpse into the life of Joanna Jones, aka John Dobbins whose performance career spanned the early era of Melbourne’s drag scene. An ongoing collaboration between John and multi-media artists Lz Dunn, this fascinating film project aims to remember and document fragments of Joanna’s repertoire.
