Baltimore synth pop collective Future Islands will be making their way to Adelaide and Brisbane for headline shows this November, whilst also joining Mumford and Sons in Melbourne and at their Gentlemen of the Road show at Sydney’s Domain.
Future Islands have developed a reputation of delivering epic live shows all around the world, commanding attention from music lovers, largely thanks to the remarkably distinct vocals and astonishing performance antics of front man Samuel T Herring. Their fourth studio LP ‘Singles’ drew critical acclaim worldwide, with NME, Pitchfork and Spin Magazine hailing the album lead single ‘Seasons (Waiting On You)’ their best track of 2014.
“Singer Samuel T.Herring’s performance is always something to behold, but his gravely shouts and epic dance moves had a particular effect on Letterman, who seemed even more jazzed than usual.” Consequence of Sound
