Fast & Furious 9 Movie Review
Inventing a mystery brother, backstory, and all for the main character Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and bringing back a long thought deceased player Han (Sung Kang) is only the tip of an iceberg of incredulous activity. Never once do things seem even remotely plausible and that’s the part of the film’s appeal. The other aspect that pleases is how hilarious it all is.

Playing with Fire Movie Review
The premise of an uptight workaholic, in this case, fire station leader Jake Carson (John Cena) being stuck with a trio of misfit children has worked in the past. The missing element here is a solid script with strong characters. The jokes, when they do arrive are just not funny enough to carry the film.

Bumblebee Movie Review
There are a number of other elements that help transform the film as well, the most important being the non-objectification of the female characters. The Megan Fox syndrome is completely avoided and new girl, Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit) gets the balance between awkward teenager and emerging woman just right. The script also helps with this as it avoids a number of predictable cliches.
