Set to launch in a few days time and focusing on ‘cult classics’ and underrated films that the public may be unaware off, FilmHouse will host its first screening on June 9 with the 1975 documentary Grey Gardens. The screening takes place at Mowbraytown Hall in East Brisbane.
FilmHouse co-creators Portia Hunt and Michael Brooks vow to make each screening a unique experience and the venue will change to compliment the film being screened. More information about FilmHouse and future screening locations can be found on the pop-up cinema’s Facebook page.
