Stand With Ukraine at Dendy Cinemas

Dendy Cinemas at Coorparoo and Portside in partnership with Screens Without Borders will be screening the Ukraine’s 2014 Foreign Language Film Oscar entry THE GUIDE on Friday 17 June.

All proceeds which include 100% of the Box Office will be donated to the International Red Cross and directed towards the Ukrainian Relief.

Inspired by real life events – The story of The Guide takes place in the early 1930s during the Holodomor, or Terror-Famine when the Soviet regime killed millions of Ukrainians largely by starvation. Several nations have formally recognized the Holodomor as a genocide.
