<p>World Science Festival explores and celebrates the entanglement of science and art through a curated program of thought-provoking conversations, inspiring theatrical and cinematic experiences, interactive workshops and engaging demonstrations.</p>
<p>Queensland Museum Network has secured the exclusive licence to host World Science Festival in the Asia Pacific from 2016-21.</p>

<p>The only global extension of this hugely popular initiative, World Science Festival Brisbane reinforces Queensland Museum’s position as a leader in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education and engagement.</p>
<p>World Science Festival Brisbane has been held twice, in 2016 and 2017, with amazing results including:</p>

<li>Exclusive participation from luminaries in science and art including Emmy award winning actor Alan Alda, World Science Festival co-founder Brian Greene, Laureate Fellow Brian Schmidt, National Science Foundation director France Córdova, UN water guru András Szöllösi-Nagy and NASA astronaut Andrew Thomas.</li>
<li>Queensland premieres of Brian Greene’s Light Falls: Space, Time and an Obsession of Einstein, Alan Alda’s Dear Albert, Nick Payne’s Constellations and the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in A Live Presentation of 2001: A Space Odyssey.</li>
