When the Nazis capture a spy who has vital intelligence that could turn the tide of the war, a bold plan is set into motion. A team of Allied commandos join forces with a French resistance cell to stage a daring rescue. Written and directed by Jacob Richardson, whose feature film debut comes two years after he made headlines with his short documentary SALT OF THE EARTH (the story of the man who invented Chicken Salt) at Adelaide Film Festival 2022, THE AEGEAN was shot on the remote Greek island of Kythira, with a multinational cast and crew including many Brisbane locals.

The film stars Hollywood icon Costas Mandylor (SAW), who gives a beautiful, nuanced performance in a unique change of pace from his well-known horror fare, returning to his ancestral homeland of Greece to deliver a truly heartbreaking turn as a widowed sailor. He’s joined by Greek rap superstar LIGHT (aka Nero Greco), who plays a ruthless villain, and British newcomer Nicky Dune. Produced by Australian production company Film Focus Productions, this is truly an international odyssey.

Yellowstone star Cole Hauser headlines alongside Stephen Dorff (Old Henry, TVS True Detective) and Jack Kilmer (Body Brokers, Detective Knight: Independence) in the action-packed western DEAD MAN’S HAND from director Brian Skiba (The 2nd, Pursuit).

A gunslinger, headed west for a quiet life with his new bride, accidentally kills a group of outlaws when their stagecoach is ambushed. When he discovers that one of the men he slayed is the brother of the ruthless town mayor, he turns to the U.S. Marshal for help… but the mayor will not let his brother’s death go unpunished.

A gripping story of vengeance and wrath, DEAD MAN’S HAND is based on the story of popular graphic novel, “No Rest of the Wicked – Dead Man’s Hand”, written by Kevin and Matthew Minor (who also scripted the film).
