As an avenue for artistic expression, BSAF endeavours to create a multi-disciplinary platform that encourages any and all art forms to participate. BSAF provides a framework of showcase and engagement for public art across Brisbane.

Since 2016, BSAF has rapidly been growing into one of the largest Street Art festivals in Australia. Building on the foundations and support from the last six years, BSAF is returning in 2022 with a worldclass program throughout Brisbane.

The BSAF 2022 mural program will welcome artists from around the world and across the country to join significant local artists in revitalising some of Brisbane’s most iconic locations with public art.

 

 

BSAF 2022 is also excited to introduce Superordinary Northshore – an immersive arts precinct that will serve as the central hub for the festival. This repurposed industrial space will host the largest ever events and workshops program to run along our mural program.

Highlights include the Festival Launch Party, the annual Within These Walls Exhibition, Now Is Nigh in collaboration with Yonder Festival, international exhibition Tools of the Trade in collaboration with HKwalls, and the the Felons Party at Howard Smith Wharves.

Save the dates and get excited for a myriad of epic events, large scale exhibitions and powerful artist panel talks alongside a massive workshop program that has something for everyone to delve into the richness and diversity of Brisbane’s public art community.

Building on the foundations and support from the last five years, BSAF is back in 2021 bigger and better than before. BSAF 2021 is incredibly excited to be announcing an extensive mural program with over 40 artworks being created by some of the most exciting street art practitioners from Brisbane, Australia and Internationally.

 

 

Running alongside this is our largest ever events program, stretching over the sixteen festival days across the Brisbane landscape. Highlights include the Festival Launch at the newly established ephemeral arts venue, Superordinary, the annual Within These Walls group exhibition in collaboration with Bad Olive also at Superordinary, and the Felons Party at Howard Smith Wharves.
