Caught Stealing Movie Review
Hank Thompson (Austin Butler) is just a dude tasked with looking after his neighbour’s cat, Bud. Said resident, Russ (Doctor Who's Matt Smith), is a mohawked punk rocker who has to travel back to England to visit his ailing father. Hank is completely unprepared for the shite show that is coming his way from this bit of neighbourly assistance.

The Naked Gun Movie Review
The new Frank Drebin (this time the son), played by Liam Neeson, gets almost all the nuances correct, even the deadpan look when a joke bombs (intentionally or not). The Priscilla Presley character is played by Pamela Anderson this time, and she gets the mix of naivety and gumption right as well. Paul Walter Hauser also successfully stars as the old Police Chief’s son

Eddington Movie Review
A lot of your enjoyment of Eddington will be based on how much you’ve recovered from that undeniably bleak period of time. The film successfully ties in so many elements of the wildness that swept the world then. These include conspiracy theories, government over governance and the big bad that lurks behind all unexplained plot points in films such as this. It’s an intoxicating medley.

Set in a small, downwardly mobile town in New Mexico, Eddington has seen ...
Nobody 2 Movie Review
Staying true to the law of diminishing returns, part two trades those rewarding elements of surprise for a supercharged bad guy (or girl in this case) and even more extreme carnage. It’s not as much of a stand-out as part one, but it is still a lot of fun. The fun this time is provided by Sharon Stone as Lendina and her gang of deadly malcontents. She almost vibrates with ramped-up energy and neurosis.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Movie Review
The story arc revolves around the foursome’s reverent acceptance into the current society at large that is almost complete. This general consensus is, however, challenged when the Earth comes under attack from an alien presence and they make a personal decision that defies the common good. In a nod to the geniality of this fantasy land, they are not openly attacked; however, the press still has a field day.

Having the story so character-driven only works because ...
Frankie Freako Movie Review

M3GAN 2.0 Movie Review
We can however rely on a kung fu fighting robot to save the day and have Director/writer Gerard Johnstone and his cohorts throw absolutely everything in the pot in an attempt to entertain us. Sensory overload or the proper proportion of mayhem for the ADD generation? Only you can decide.
//
The storyline as convoluted as it is revolves around the original M3GAN robot not really being completely destroyed and her CPU or central processing unit still existing in one ...
F1: The Movie – Movie Review
The amount of concessions made to play to Brad Pitt’s character of the alpha male race car driver Sonny Hayes leads to a few unnecessary storyline decisions. The most egregious one being the completely frivolous and underdeveloped romance between Hayes and race car designer Kate played by Kerry Condon. But then this work was never intended for the motor racing purist, it’s squarely aimed for mass consumption.

The overall presentation is very bright and shiny. ...
