Festival of Tibet welcomes back its long-standing friend, Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra to perform alongside Tibetan Grammy-nominated artist Tenzin Choegyal.

Traditional Tibetan songs and Tenzin’s spirited storytelling are enriched by the powerful string sounds of Camerata’s quintet.

 

 

The concert is a beautiful intersection of a long-term friendship – both artistic and personal – between Tenzin and Camerata cellist Katherine Philp.

Sublime string arrangements pay homage to Tenzin’s Tibetan lineage in this moving performance.
