This April, legendary psych-rock phenomenon TAME IMPALA will embark on their biggest ever tour of Australia and New Zealand. Starting in Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Saturday 18 April, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Monday 20 April, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Thursday 23 April, Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre Arena on Saturday 25 April; before heading to Perth for a huge hometown show at RAC Arena on Tuesday 28 April.

Joining Tame Impala on all dates are Texan genre-defiers, Khruangbin. In Australia last year playing their debut sell-out headline tour, the sunny instrumental three-piece will warm crowds with their mind-expanding live show.

Led by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker, Tame Impala have established themselves as one of Australia’s most astounding live acts. A meditative, light-infused party of psychedelic euphoria, their live experience is world renowned – last year impressing at prestigious headlining slots such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Primavera, and Splendour in the Grass.

“Kevin Parker and his sensational band continue to prove that their ever-expanding sound is fit for the biggest of stages” – ★ ★ ★ ★ NME

“The panoramic sound, trippy light shows, and confetti cannons of Tame Impala’s live shows are the stuff of stoner legend.” – Pitchfork

“the mind-melting live experience that’s made them one of Australia’s most treasured and in-demand music exports” – triple j

In response to the bushfires currently ravaging Australia, Kevin Parker has announced that a donation from Tame Impala’s 2020 tour will be made to bushfire relief efforts, saying –

“I’ve been hanging out to tour Australia for a long time now so I’m super excited to be able to finally be able to announce. In the past few weeks I’ve been devastated to see what’s been happening with the fires at home and we want to do our bit to help, so we’re going to be donating $AUD300,000 to bushfire relief charities.

We’ve all seen so many generous donations coming in from all around the world, which is amazing. We’re still working through exactly where the dollars will go but I want to ensure that no charity in need during this time is overlooked and that our contribution is helpful for both human and wildlife victims, as well being used actively in climate change research and bushfire prevention.”

This April, fans will experience songs from the highly anticipated new album, The Slow Rush to be released February 14. Tantalising with shimmering singles, the most recent ‘Lost in Yesterday’ is “swimming in nostalgia and hooked on a funky rhythm section” (Billboard).

In the wake of No.1 ARIA charting album Currents, Tame Impala’s last Aussie tour in 2015 saw them sell out venues across the country, including an iconic Sydney Opera House forecourt appearance. Debuting smash hit ‘The Less I Know The Better’ on tour that year, the anthemic song has accumulated over 450 million streams.

Obtaining global success, Tame Impala boasts two Grammy Nominations, eight ARIA Awards, and a Brit Award, amongst countless others. Besides his acclaimed Tame fame, Kevin Parker has also lent his musical genius to collaborations with Mark Ronson, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Travis Scott.

KHRUANGBIN return after last year’s in-demand Australian tour, which saw them add shows and upgrade venues. On their upcoming visit, they will bring songs from 2019’s Hasta El Cielo, along with ‘Texas Sun’, a recent collaboration with fellow Texan, Leon Bridges. A mix of Thai-surf punk, Persian rock music, 1980’s Algerian symphonia, with a dash of disco, soul, and Balearic music, their hypnotic live show is not to be missed “rich in beautiful psychedelic colour, by extension, it celebrates international culture and unity.” – The Line of Best Fit

Sure to be one of the most exciting tours of the year, experience Tame Impala’s triumphant return across Australia and New Zealand this April!

Frontier Touring are delighted to welcome back one of the defining bands of American rock music: Jimmy Eat World, returning to Australia in March 2020 for their first visit in three years and in celebration of their recently released tenth studio album, Surviving, out now via Sony Music Australia.

The Arizona band will perform three special headline shows only while in Australia. First up: WA fans can get their fix at Fremantle venue Metropolis on Monday 16 March. Brisbane fans are up next with a show at The Tivoli on Thursday 19 March, while Adelaide audiences get their long-awaited turn with a gig at The Gov on Monday 23 March.

Coming three years after 2016’s Integrity Blues, Surviving is Jimmy Eat World’s most personal, ambitious album to date. With 25 years and 10 albums so far, frontman Jim Adkins proves once again why he’s one of the most prolific songwriters in rock & roll. Together with bandmates Rick Burch, Tom Linton and Zach Lind, Jimmy Eat World’s hard-rocking melodies and killer lyrics have won over fans for more than two decades now, thanks to iconic tracks such as: ‘Bleed American’, ‘The Middle’, ‘Sweetness’, ‘Pain’, ‘I Will Steal You Back’, ‘Always Be’, ‘Sure and Certain’ and many more.

If reviews of the band’s current US tour run this month are anything to go by, Jimmy Eat World’s tour in March 2020 is not to be missed!

‘The entire performance, in a nutshell, was breathtaking.’ – therodeomag.com

‘There are few bands that can simply do no wrong, and Jimmy Eat World are one of them … the band exuded a seasoned maturity not lacking for energy, feeding off the die-hards singing along against the barricade and the enthusiastic tipsy waving beers in the back.’ – starsandscars.com

‘After a killer main set, the band turned up the heat for the encore, starting with “555” and then going into ‘Big Casino’ off Chase This Light … “The Middle” as the night’s final song was a definite crowd-pleaser, proving it’s a great song which still rips hard live to this day.’– Brooklyn Vegan

Fans got their first taste of new album Surviving via singles ‘Love Never’, ‘All The Way (Stay)’ and ‘555’, the 10-track album self-produced by the band with Integrity Blues producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen. Critics have praised the band for another stellar effort:

‘… the fact that Surviving sits so neatly amongst its predecessors says much about the work Jimmy Eat World have put in over the years in creating and refining a sound that is uniquely their own’ – The AU Review ★★★★

‘Packed with unfiltered feeling and power’ – Kerrang, 4/5

‘A collection of polished alt-rock pick-me-ups and feel-good collaborations’ – Billboard

‘Top to bottom, it’s a classic Jimmy Eat World record’ – Alternative Press

‘Far from a band merely surviving, it would seem Jimmy Eat World is thriving’ – Upset Magazine

Don’t miss Jimmy Eat World, playing Fremantle, Brisbane and Adelaide in March 2020!

Still glowing after unveiling their stunning sophomore album My Resignation to rapturous acclaim in October, dream-pop duo Geowulf have ensured their star will keep ascending as they lock in a cosmic run of Australian dates for February 2020.

Kicking off in Sydney, saying G’day to their home fans on the Sunshine Coast and winding through intimate venues in Brisbane and Melbourne, this now London-based team of Star Kendrick and Toma Banjanin will be fresh off a comprehensive run through the US and UK and sharing tracks from this year’s release as well as 2018’s stunning debut Great Big Blue.

Drawing from the likes of Beach House, Mazzy Star and Fleetwood Mac as they present a patient, shimmering bed of guitar mastery and centimetre perfect vocals, Geowulf are a band a lifetime in the making.

Toma and Star have been friends since they both grew up on Queensland’s dazzling Sunshine Coast. Despite forging a strong friendship and bond, the two never actually collaborated musically until much later in life.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: block;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-9550766590923202" data-ad-slot="4069408586" data-ad-format="link"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: block;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-9550766590923202" data-ad-slot="4069408586" data-ad-format="link"></ins>

It comes as no surprise then, that X Ambassadors’ tracks are typically perfectly constructed pieces of emotional dynamite. Singles such as ‘Jungle’, ‘Unsteady’ and this years’ ‘Boom’ utilise the full force of Sam’s vocal talents while leaning heavily on the keyboard mastery of his brother Casey.

In fact, one of the most affecting moments of an X Ambassadors live show arrives when Casey (blind from birth) takes centre stage and delivers an emotive solo interlude. A stark contrast to the often crunching beats usually delivered by the three-piece, it goes a long way to demonstrating the versatile nature of their music.

“You work for the fans. That’s it,” Harris has said. “Obviously the music has to come from a personal place, but at the end of the day, these fans are the ones that are doing everything for you.”

For the first time in February 2020 at these huge shows, fans from Australia and New Zealand will be given the opportunity to watch on as X Ambassadors deliver a high energy experience filled with soaring vocals and perfectly structured instrumentation.
