Solomon Airlines has announced a major marketing collaboration with one of the world’s leading entertainment companies, Illumination, for the release of its next original animated film, Migration.
“Migration’s family-holiday storyline is action-packed, amusing and a little synonymous with the journey many long-haul travellers might make as they travel halfway around the world to discover Solomon Islands’ nearly 1000 stunning islands,” said Solomon Airlines Marketing Manager David Green.
“Solomon Airlines recently launched a direct route from Brisbane to Munda in the Western Province of the Solomon Islands, a tropical paradise akin to the surroundings the movie characters journey towards,” said Mr. Green.
“With the Solomon Islands increasingly internationally recognised as an off-the-beaten-track and untouched leisure destination, we hope to create curiosity about journeying to our own tropical paradise,” he said.
“With our newest A320 joining the fleet, and our Brisbane to Munda direct service re-launched, we could not imagine a better time to partner with Illumination’s Migration to promote the life-changing experience of travel to the tropics” he said.
Solomon Airlines’ newest A320 aircraft, registered H4-SAL, will play a major role in regional promotion of Migration.
Migration will be released in cinemas on Boxing Day, 26 December 2023!
