Love and hunger were in the air for Brisbane Southsiders at Cinnabon Westfield Garden City’s Grand Opening on Valentine’s Day.
The opening catapulted Cinnabon Garden City to the highest opening day sales in the history of the franchise worldwide, with over 6500 Cinnabon Rolls sold.
Cinnabon Franchisor and Bansal Group Director, Gaurav Bansal, was ecstatic with the turnout over the weekend and the love Queenslanders have for the brand. He added that sales have continued to stay strong throughout the week at both the Garden City and Toombul locations.
“Our rolls made the perfect Valentine’s gift, and we think people might be asking for Cinnabon instead of flowers from now on,” said Bansal.
While the rest of the country anxiously awaits more locations, the Bansal Group has promised national expansion is on the horizon for Cinnabon, but they’re committed to finding sites with longevity potential.
“Once we’ve secured the best locations and suppliers in other states, we’ll start to open more permanent bakeries and popups around the country, and we’re working hard on that now,” said Bansal.
