Everyone is invited to join the festivities at the Queen Street Mall 40th Birthday Street Party on Friday 26 August with surprise live performances and a packed program of fashion, workshops, music, entertainment, markets, champagne and more.

Queen Street Mall 40th Birthday Street Party
The celebrations spill into the street on 26 August with a free, all-ages Street Party. There are fashion runways, style workshops, live entertainment, a pop-up champagne bar, surprise giveaways and more throughout the day. Live music and roving performers will entertain visitors all day with a free mini-concert on the Wintergarden Stage from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
Champagne Bar
Raise a toast to Queen Street Mall at a pop-up champagne bar at Jimmy’s On The Mall. Sit back and sip on a glass of sparkling from 26 to 28 August with the Champagne Bar open from 10am until 11pm.
Fashion Friday – Style Workshops
Get a sneak peek at the latest looks with a series of free fashion workshops and beauty masterclasses on 26 August hosted by Queen Street Mall Ambassador Annabel Falco. The exclusive style workshops feature the latest spring trends, the hottest looks from Queen Street Mall retailers and skincare and makeup tips for the ultimate spring glow-up. Pull up a seat at Queen Street Mall Stage for an informative and inspiring session or two.

Queen Street Mall transforms into a fashion runway, unveiling a stylish showcase of the latest spring/summer collections from leading Queen Street Mall retailers and brands. There are three half-hour parades on 26 August at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm.
Night Market
Keep the festivities flowing into the night and indulge at a special Night Market celebrating Queen Street Mall’s 40th Birthday. Listen to live buskers, browse an array of stalls or grab a bite to eat at the Reddacliff Place markets from 4pm to 9pm on 26 August.
Historical Markers and Photo Displays
Visitors can stroll down memory lane and indulge in a spot of nostalgic reminiscing from 9 to 26 August. Archival photos are displayed throughout the Queen Street Mall in a visual timeline of its evolution. Historical markers are placed at significant locations throughout the mall to share its rich history, special occasions and milestones with passers-by.
Pose & Snap
Create a unique fashion moment at the Wintergarden Fashion Magazine photo booth. Step inside the life-sized photo booth, strike a pose and snap a pic to create a personalised magazine cover. Fashionistas who share their front cover photo on social media have the chance to win a $100 Wintergarden Gift Card.
